Medival Recipes and other delights

I do love to eat, but most of all I Love to cook!!!

Lately, I have been really getting into researching and recreating medieval recipes. Most of this work is founded upon the work of other cooks, who have pioneered this kind of research. People like Cindy Renfrow, Constance Heiatt, David Friedman, and Elizabeth Cook, to name a few.

The bulk of my research is engendered by, and is practiced within the context of the Society For Creative Anachronism, a medieval "recreation" society to which I have belonged for twenty-some-odd years. It is a damn lot of fun, and you can learn a lot, too!

Recently, I cooked a whole medieval feast for my Barony's "Baronial Birthday" event.
