     Heavy is me' heart to have to warn ye the lads O' this channel be 
right in formin' this channel!  I am Captain Maynard O' the HMS Ipswitch 
who managed to sink a man-O-war that contained a ragin' mob O' 
Gingerbread Man Pirates offa' the coast O' Assateague Island, Virginia.  

     It was they, who attacked the HMS Ipswitch after flyin' the colors 
O' our Portugese allies!  The scurvy dogs tried ta' lure us in and sink 
the "Ipswitch" before we had the chance ta' arm our posts!  

     Their trickery was cut short when we set their ship ablase with a 
few fused powder kegs that we heaved onto their pirated vessel, "The 
Hell's Pride".  We torched them to a crisp, savin' all O' Virginia, the 
Colonies, and the Crown O' England!
