I was delivering milk like any good milkman does, bright and early in the morning. As I approached the doorstep of a familiar house I heared a rustle in the bushes. As I peared in to see if it was the family's cat I was struck upon the head by a hard blunt object. I hit the ground hard and felt my own blood spill from my forehead. As I opened my eyes I saw a gingerbread man swing at my face with what looked like a billiards ball in a sock. Everything went black as the blow struck me in the face. I awoke in the hospital with a broken jaw and multiple contusions to the head. No one saw the attack and to this day I deliver my milk with caution.
