Worked at the Pratt & Whitney Aircraft account supporting various applications:

Provided
Visual Basic 5.0 client/server support for engineering database named Advanced Engineering Programs. The application contains competitive aircraft/engine information stored on an Oracle database that allows engineers to access from both Windows and Unix platforms.

 Designed on P&W intranet, a web site help/technical facility for the Advance Engineering     Programs database using HTML/JavaScript. The site contains technical white pages and     support information.

 Developed in Microsoft Access a strategic cost database that tracked costs of     competitive engine parts.

 Supported a Microsoft Access system called TRUCE which acted as a front-end to a     Sybase database. This system tracked reliability data of various aircraft engines and     consisted of a large-scale user base of over 1000 customers worldwide.

Oracle database development, creation of new Visual Basic programs     (v4.0/5.0), conversion of Visual Basic system from 4.0 to 5.0, MS Access screen and     report development and customer-user support and training.

Aetna Insurance Company, 1994 to 1996

 Provided technical support for Client/Server money collections system using VISUAL     BASIC (v3.0), SYBASE and MICROFOCUS COBOL.

 Assisted in development of a PC/LAN new business group enrollment system using
    VISUAL BASIC and MICROSOFT ACCESS.

 Developed and supported annuity payments system using
MICROFOCUS COBOL. The     PC/LAN based system received daily annuity payments and communicated with the host     via ARBITER. Became lead support of this system which had over 100+ users and     processed millions of dollar daily.

 The system, developed in MICROFOCUS COBOL, was PC-DOS based running on IBM     TOKEN RING networks in over 12 field offices.

 Performed online development of boat inquiry programs, system and network     maintenance and countrywide field office support.

 Assisted Commercial Lines Processing System (CPS) which operates on a NOVELL     LAN in the development of underwriting inquiry and update capability for boat.
    MICROSOFT BASIC 7.1 was used for the programming of the underwriting screens.

 Worked on development of
IMS online system called Small Group Proposal System. This     project offered heavy exposure to system analysis/development of many screens and     batch programs using COBOL and TELON.

 Worked on CHARTS in Group Systems for two years. Developed and maintained a     complex set of
IBM COBOL online screens and batch reports utilizing TELON     development tools.

 Started in Personal Lines area; two years of
COBOL maintenance and on-call support for     the Rating & Research Experience system.
