24.pdf--This
is a foreign gossip magazine page in pdf format (you need Acrobat Reader
to view it). If you decide to go there, be prepared that it will take a
while to load (go make yourself a cup of tea...). I took the liberty of
saving the page and clipping only the photo for download, below.
Many thanks to Ellen Scharr from Germany for the translation of the
caption:

Alan Rickman visits Berlin constantly
to pick up prizes, Berlinale 1996 for Sense and
Sensibilities and Kate Winslet.
BBC to be sued over Doctor Who--A to-the-point explanation of the Dr. Who thing.
BBC
Politics 97--Alan Rickman talks to the Chancellor!
Chickflic!
Dickflic!--A site by Lance Arthur who defines these types of movies--and
does a great job at it too! The only mention of Alan is where he talks about
the audience wanting the villain to win. Nothing directly Alan here, but
I was reeeeally impressed with the design on this site. Easy to download;
clean, crisp graphics; a pleasure to read and scroll down.
The
Gaby Roslin Show--a transcript of a TV segment with Kate Winslet. There's
a sweet mention of Alan and how Kate was shivering in her boots to meet
Alan. This is a fabulous site on Kate, by the way.
Launch Online--An
interview with Ben Affleck. Mentions that Alan was supposed to appear in
"Good Will Hunting."
Luvvy--And
she is a luvvy! See her picture of Alan from the 20 November 1997 issue
of Time Out New York.
The Medina
Gazette--Scroll down a little more than halfway down the page to read
a lovely story by Angela Y. Hardin. It's actually a story about Kenneth
Branagh, but the first few paragraphs are of her love for Alan first. "I'm
cheating on him..." she starts off.
USA Today: Oscar Party's Moving Moments--Go to the bottom of the page and read all about Alan planting a big, wet one on Emma. Well, they weren't quite as crass as I am...
War Child--An
organization in support of the worst victims of war. The list of supporters
are mostly from the music genre--Alan stands with the likes of U2, Luciano
Pavarotti, Liza Minelli, the late Michael Hutchense, and dear friend and
acting companion Juliet Stevenson. Learn more about War Child on the other
pages; very intriguing.
Winchester Hat Fair--Now, this one was intriguing. I checked with the Webmaster to verify that it was our Alan Rickman and not someone else by the same name. Maybe he should have donated all those hats from Sense & Sensibility!
