Excerpt from Self-Analysis: Excerpt from Self-Analysis: Hi, I am Ralgath (aka QueZTone). I'm a student from The Netherlands and have been a fan of Wing Commander for a while now. My favorite WC game is WC4 closely followed by WC3. I'm also an enthousiastic player of adventure games, especially when it comes to LucasArts. My favorite adventure game is Monkey Island 2. After joining #monkey-island on DALnet I saw that people of #mi were also in #wing-commander. So I joined #wc and am still amazed till this day about the close friendly community it remains to be. Love experiencing the sci-fi universes that are Wing Commander, StarCraft, Star Wars, Star Trek and Space Above and Beyond. Another hobby of mine is Graphics Design. Excerpt from Self-Analysis: Where to start? I'm a 26 year old gameaholic in somewhat of a remission at the moment and I probably spend way too much time on irc these days. I have a BS in history (ahh, useless liberal arts degrees!), and I currently live in Oregon. Gaming wise, I tend to play rpg's, strategy games and space-sim/scifi stuff. My all time favorites have to be Starcraft/Broodwar, Baldurs Gate series, and the Civilization series but I don't think I've ever actually played a WC game (I ended up following some crazy swede into the channel).

Excerpt from Self-Analysis: Hiyas, I'm Sarah, a 24 year old mom and college student from Dallas TX. I wandered into #wing-commander when I noticed the channel's name. Being a huge Wing Commander fan, I just had to get involved with a collection of other WC nuts. I got hooked into WC1 when I was but a little girl playing on my dads old 386. Since then I've played every WC game I can find, my favorite being WC4, and I've read every book. Outside of getting a tan from my computer monitor, I enjoy writing novels and poetry, doing homework and playing with the most adorable child in existence. I also hike, mountain bike and take karate classes. In addition to the more mundane hobbies, I enjoy playing with guns and heavy explosives. I'm weird like that :-)

Excerpt from Self-Analysis: Proud Scots man. Computer game fan including the classics like Wing Commander (Favourites being WC3,WC4 and WCP) and Doom. Other intrest include Rugby (play for a local team called Allan Glens) and Support The Glasgow rangers (a football/soccer team). Joined #wing-commander an few months ago and have found it to be a friendly place. Favourite movie is a Scottish favourite, Braveheart. Im a 20 year old college student majoring in Computer Electronics Technology (Applied Associates Degree) at E.C.P.I. My major hobby is of course Wing Commander, but I also fit in any other flight sim, janes f-15, freespace 1 and 2. I also read novels and enjoy listening to music, especially Gregorian Chant.

Excerpt from Self-Analysis: Ever since I got my first 386 when I was eleven, I played Games such as Space invaders and Home Alone. THEN I got my first of many computer upgrades. My dad bout me for my twelfth Birthday a Creative Sound Blaster 2x CD ROM Discovery set with a SB16 soundcard. After a few hours of trying to install the stuff, I finnaly decided to invoke the final ultimate solution.... I read the instructions. But that didn't help either so with a combination of Anger, frustration and despair, I planted my foot on the side of the case, and oh hell it worked, go figure. After a few months begging my dad for more memory, all I wanted was 4MB!!. After I got that, the world opened up. First Game I played then is still one of my favorite games EVER, Wing Commander 2. Then Syndicate, Ultima 8 which I still haven't finished to this day, and Strike Commander. I fell in love with the Wing Commander. I hope to see you on #Wing-Commander.

Excerpt from Self-Analysis: Well, I'm a 19 year old student studying Physics at the University of Hull in England. I've played all of the Wing Commander games except for WC2, Priv1 and the Academy/Armarda games. I am a great fan of most things Sci Fi, especially Star Trek and Babylon 5. Most of my spare time (what little of it I get) is spent at my PC and most of that is split between playing the WC games and chatting in #Wing-Commander. Well... I can't think of much else to write for this so I'm going to stop now.
