Eagle (aka StrikeEagle)

ICQ: 301942
E-Mail: whoward@iconn.net
Excerpt from Self-Analysis: I've been playing and loving Wing Commander ever since WC1 came out. I have all the Wing Commander PC games, and was very fortunate to have played them all in order. My favorites are WC1 and Privateer 1 though as I play Wing Commander Prophecy more and more, I consider it to have a place in the very front rank of WC games as well. I'm 55 years old, and am the Commander of the Grey Ghost squadron; a congenial group of WC players over the age of 30.

The only known authenticated shot of StrikeEagle! :)

Equalizer

Homepage: http://www.equalizer.ca/
Excerpt from Self-Analysis: My name is Equalizer! I'm 24 years old from British Columbia Canada. I've been coming to #wing-commander for 5 or 6 years now and have yet to find any place on the net that is even close to as great as the people in this room make it. I've played every Wing-Commander game except for Academy even though I know have it, I've also managed to acquire some rarer Wing-Commander collectables. Flirbnic (aka Flirby)

Excerpt from Self-Analysis: H

Foxhound

Excerpt from Self-Analysis: I'm am (of course) a BIG fan of the Wing Commander universe. I am fortunate enough to own every WC game, except for WC: Academy and Super Wing Commander (for Mac). My favorite WC games are P1, WC2 and WCP. I'm also a great fan of most Science-Fiction, like Star Trek, Space Above And Beyond, and those shows. I'm also the kind of pilot who likes to fly the heavier craft in the WC games, like the Excalibur and the Broadsword. :)

FTC_GG

ICQ: 1076956
Excerpt from Self-Analysis: I'm one of the 'elderly Grey Ghost' pilots (born some time between Bing Crosby and The Beatles having #1 hits), my fighters are always specially fitted out with bi-focal radar screens and VDUs, with hearing-aid implants attached to the headset and a Seniors Parking Permit affixed to the cockpit front screen. I've fought in all the WC campaigns with the exception of the Border Worlds revolt (having a hip replacement and pacemaker insertion operation at the time), and my flying style could best be described as 'white-knuckled frantic'. In a melee I'm easily recognised by having no rear armour left and a tactical plan centred solely on self-survival. In #Wing-Commander my comments are most often finished with a wink ;-) so never take anything I say with any degree of seriousness. This is explained by the fact I'm an Australian, meaning I have no sense of the logical and a 'different' sense of humour :-) If you want help on anything at all don't hesitate to ask me any question, just don't expect any sort of sensible answer ;-) Cheers - FTC GG

E-Mail: not to be disclosed under penalty of death
Excerpt from Self-Analysis: Not much is know about this enigmatic wanderer. Only thing known is that once paths have been crossed, destruction is imminent. The only people known to have survived an encounter is Phoozang-gg , Nivvy, The Eagle, & Nuclear. Avoid him at all costs!!!!!!! Only hokage levels are authorized to initiate contact.

LocoMan

Excerpt from Self-Analysis: Well... where do I start.... my first wing commander game was WC2, but didn't knew enough English at the time to fully understand it, so I consider my first real WC game to be WC3. I live in Venezuela, want to get out, hate Venezuelan president, 25 years old and I'm a little overweight.. ok, ok, a lot overweight 8^). I'm learning 3D animation, currently with 3D Studio Max, before with Animation:Master, trying to specialize in character animation, and hoping to get a job in the future in that field, and I'm a big fan of anything animation in general, specially 3D computer animation and Japanese anime.

LocoMan gives a winning smile for the camera.

Niviene of the lake (aka Andromeda or Nivvy)

E-Mail: niviene@wing-commander.net
Homepage: http://www.geocities.com/niviene
Excerpt from Self-Analysis: I came to #wing-commander a number of years ago, and stumbled upon a great group. A couple years later, they talked me into trying a Wing Commander game, so I picked up a copy of WC:Prophecy, and I loved it! I even liked the Wing Commander movie, and I think that I may be the only one who did. ;) One of my other favorite games are the Ultima series (and I still play UO quite a bit), Maxis games (Sim City, Railroad Tycoon, etc),Rogue Spear, and even yahoo games. In the channel I'm pretty chatty (and highly opinionated), and if you get a pie in the face from me, it is just a warm welcome. :) Just keep an eye out for that bloody Swede...

Nuclear_GG (aka Nuc)

Excerpt from Forced-Analysis: Hobbies include electronics (buying, selling, fixing of old electronics like radios and such), gourmet cooking, beer and wine brewing, some woodworking. Favorite games: Wing Commander, Monkey Island, Ultima Online. Op extraordinaire! :)

A shot of Nuke before his morning coffee.

Phoozang_GG

Excerpt from Self-Analysis: Wing Commander was the first game I bought after I bought my first PC out of college. After a sleepless weekend, I followed that up with Wing Commander Deluxe and Wing Commander II. Since then, I have visited the Wing Commander universe every time a new game has come out. I own all the PC versions of Wing Commander except Wing Commander Armada and I still keep them within reach of my PC.

Rottingbeef (aka beef)

Excerpt from Self-Analysis: My name is Rottingbeef. I sometimes use the nickname Baastuul, but that name is growing out of fashion in the society of little mind people who live inside my head who make decisions about what Internet nicknames I should use. I have been a part of the #Wing-Commander community since I was but a young lad of perhaps 11 or 12 years, back in 1997 or 1998 or thereabouts. I never actually got into the Wing Commander series, being more of an Ultima and Monkey Island dork. I enjoy ambient music. My favorite juice is grape juice, especially Welch's, but any grape juice is good enough for me, just as long as it doesn't have chunks of salmonella in it. I was born in Hawaii and I have lived in Thailand, but right now I live in Washington in a place that is not quite in the middle of nowhere, but not really in any place significant.
