As a child he watched his parents brutally murdered by a clan of gingerbread men. The gingerbread men then ransacked and set fire to young Matt's house. He escaped all of this by hiding in a tree in his back yard. When the nightmare ended Matt was left homeless. He was raised by a pack of wild snow mice. He went to school and even graduated high school, but then something went terribly wrong. He had flashbacks of the gingerbread man attack and snapped. Every since then, he has dedecated his life to nothing but the death of Gingerbread men.
